The War

"Charges dropped." He now noticed the two rather large wolves accompayning her

Gaia walked up to Dark. "Afraid not." The wolves just suddenly died.

Dark's smile faded. "Oo, big mistake." A very familiar blade was found in Dark's hand. "Lost something?"

Gaia looked at the blade. "It's a very bold move, pulling a weapon that is completely powerless on a Goddess."

Dark gave a small smile. "Not all are who they appear to be." Dark tried to drill that into Florence's head in case of something like this.

Florence remembered the phrase. Still, he knew the situation was hopeless. They were greatly outnumbered, and Gaia couldn't possibly be harmed. Even if the Gates of Hell hadn't been opened, they would have little chance.

Mr. Whiskers ran towards Dark's feet. Dark squealed.

Florence broke free of Dark's grasp. He looked at Mr. Whiskers.

Diane dissapeared from the material plain.

Florence had no idea where she went. He looked at Dark. "You have to get out of here. Gaia's powers are currently limited to this building. If you get outside you'll be safe."

"Why would I do that?" Something was off.

"Because she'll kill you if you don't."

Dark reply was cut off by Diane yelling "That's not Dark."

Florence was confused.

"A clone or the clone."

Florence stepped away from "Dark".

Now that he was looking, it didn't look like Dark at all.

"What are you doing here?"

"What are you doing here?"

"I asked you first."

"Too bad." She threw him against the wall. A howl rose from the wild wolves in the forest. "They're warning us! They just found out."

Florence hit the wall hard. He slide down the wall, but when he tried to get up Joshua moved to stop him.

Diane glared at Joshua.

Joshua picked Florence up by the collar and slammed him into the wall. Only the wall wasn't there. A rift in time and space had opened behind Florence and he was thrown through it. It closed behind him.

Diane rammed into Joshua.
