Scott reveals what happened

"Why did they do that?"

"Experimenting" Scott said

"With what?"

"They didn't say" he replied "Probably my appearance again"

"Oh."

He ran a hand though his green hair "It's nothing compared to the stuff they did to you guys"

"Like what?"

"They did all sorts of stuff to you guys" Scott said

"Like?"

"They typical mutant stuff" he said "I think they were also experimenting with weird power type stuff"

"Like, controling the elements? Cause I was born with it."

"I never said they gave it to you. Stuff like what could subdue them or amplify them. They gave Daniel his though, which is why they could block it out with the earring"

"Wait, he can do WHAT?!"

"You means Daniel?"

"Yes."

"I don't really know" Scott told her "But whatever it was caused him to short out the mind machine the first time they put him in it"

"Ha. Now, we're immune to it."

"That's why the stopped using it on him" Scott said "Easier for them to simply repress the memories anyways"

"Yeah, but all they have to do is put on another one if you guys get captured again and it's like a factory reset"

"You probably don't have to worry, they'll think you already have one" Scott said "But your powers don't work on them"
